Who are the Savvy Marketers?

In the summer of 2008 two local business owners, based on the south coast of England, got together and pooled their knowledge of marketing on the internet.  Sam McArthur and Louise Barnes-Johnston are ‘the Savvy Marketers’!

“We know that small business owners don’t have a lot of cash or time to spare.  So our aim is to ensure that what we offer is easy to understand, low or (preferably) no cost, quick to put into action and, above all, FUN!”

Our combined experience and expertise covers areas including:

Blogging; social networking; search engine optimisation; email marketing (including email newsletters); web copy; information products; teleseminars and pay per click campaigns.

Sam McArthur has been working in internet marketing for almost 10 years, establishing her company Forty First in 2002. She works as an online marketing & SEO consultant for small businesses based in the Hampshire & Sussex areas, as well as further afield.

Louise Barnes-Johnston is a business coach and marketing strategist working with the owners of small businesses.  She shows them how to implement online marketing strategies – including email marketing, writing for the web, and social networking as well as savvy time-saving shortcuts – that will all bring in the best results.  Her company, FrontLine Results, was formed in 2005.
