Interview with Mark Zuckerberg of Facebook

If you read our posts regularly, you’ve probably worked out that Louise is much more the expert on all things social media than I am, particularly when it comes to Facebook! I have been trying to learn more about it and be more patient with it, particularly after wanting to throw the computer out of the window when I can’t find how to do some basic things with my profile, but that’s for another post ;)

I recently came across a video of Mark Zuckerberg, CEO of Facebook being interviewed by Rick Stengel of Time Magazine earlier this year, which I found useful and thought I’d share with you. Some of the points discussed and questions asked in the video include:

  • Is Facebook changing the definition of friendship and how people interact with each other?
  • How do Facebook users deal with privacy issues?
  • Is Facebook changing the way news is distributed?
  • What unites people on Facebook?

plus how Mark Zuckerberg plans to make a contribution by society by donating large sums of his wealth.

If you want a bit more insight into Facebook and the man behind it, this is worth viewing. It’s about 9 minutes long. If the video isn’t displaying properly, you can view it here on Time Magazine’s website.
